A landslide that took place on June 27, at the Sanqing Mountain of the Chinese Jiangxi Province, was caught on camera as it was crashing down a road.
Furthermore, southern China has been experiencing very intense rainfall and extreme weather conditions in recent months.
Floods have so far claimed at least 47 lives this month, according to The Guardian, while numerous landslides have also occurred, and been attributed to the heavy precipitation.
The Voice of America cited broadcaster CCTV, stating that a landslide in a mountainous area of the Hunan province hit a village on June 23, causing 8 people to lose their lives and four houses to collapse.
One more landslide took place on June 24 in the Yikeng village of the Jiangxi province, footage of which has widely circulated.

It is noteworthy that these events come to be added to severe flooding and landslides which caused an additional 50 fatalities in the Guangdong province back in late April.
Finally, at the same time that extreme precipitation is taking place in southern China, the country’s northern part is experiencing a heatwave, with temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius in the capital, Beijing, last week.
