The 2012 Ralph B Peck Lecture was delivered at Geo-Congress 2012 in Oakland, CA on March 27, 2012. The 2012 Peck Lecturer was Craig Benson of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His lecture title was "Bentonite Barriers for Geoenvironmental Containment: Lessons Learned from Full-Scale Applications." The Peck Award was established in 1999 by the Geo-Institute of the Society in honor of Ralph B. Peck, Dist.M.ASCE.
