A powerful earthquake has shaken Colombia’s capital of Bogota, damaging dozens of homes, churches and businesses. The Colombian Geological Service reported the magnitude of the quake was 6.5 and it struck at a depth of 10 to 15 kilometres in the department of Cundinamarca, however the United States Geological Survey reported it as a magnitude 6.3 earthquake. A major road in the quake's epicentre Paratebueno, was also impacted, with footage showing a massive crack running across its surface.
