TNO Diana's International Course: Finite Element Analysis of (Reinforced) Concrete Structures (2-5 October 2012)

TNO DIANA BV is pleased to invite you to its training course on Nonlinear Analysis of Reinforced Concrete Structures. The training course consists of a balanced mixture of lectures and hands-on computer analyses with the DIANA finite element software.

Short Course Benefits

• The course focuses on the application of the finite element method in structural analysis of concrete structures. The lectures will be followed by exercises to provide participants with hands-on experience relevant to the presented theory
  
• The course focuses on nonlinear analysis of (reinforced) concrete structures, with emphasis on crack modelling. Delegates will learn good-practice in nonlinear finite element analysis. They will learn also criteria for choosing among different crack models available, convergence criteria, and setting the corresponding parameters

Format

• Timing for the course on each day is: 9.00am - 5.30pm
• Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop, please ensure that your laptop meets the minimum requirements as described on TNO DIANA's support page
• Lunches and refreshments are provided
