The GeoWorld contest, which ended on the 29th of February 2012, was a huge success. Thank you everyone for participating in inviting your geo-colleagues to join our online community. We have now reached over 1,500 members thanks to you, and more and more companies and organizations are joining as well!
Dr. Mahnoosh Biglari , the big winner of our contest, has already picked her prize out of a long list of geoengineering publications. Mahnoosh will any day now be receiving “Recommendations for Design and Analysis of Earth Structures using Geosynthetic Reinforcements – EBGEO”.
We still have many available publications that are of great use to geotechnical engineers and related fields and plan to have another contest in the future.
