Geoprobe® Blows into Charlotte!

With neighboring states having the worst storms in years if not history, Geoprobe® blew into Charlotte NC, preparing for a possible rainy day event.  HOWEVER, when show day arrived, you could not have asked for a more perfect day to attend Geoprobe’s Charlotte Field Event! Over forty folks attended the event as Geoprobe’s Field Team demonstrated the models 7822DT and 8140LCmachines.

One of the highlights was Geoprobe’s 7822DT machine coring into the granite with a diamond core barrel.  Also presented with the 7822DT was Dual Tube 45 soil sampling and examples of setting a 2” prepack monitoring well, Geotechnical SPT samples using Hollow stem method and driven casing methods, and groundwater sampling with the SP22.

Another feature demonstration was the NEW 8140LC Sonic Machine running the Dual Tube 45 sampler and retrieving solid granite cores in a PVC liner.  The 8140LC also ran a standard 4 x 6 sonic sampling method and showed 8” casing being driven.

Small show segments also included information and demos on the NEW 2.25” injection probe being run by the GP800 pump system.  Machine maintenancewas also a topic providing information on hydraulic filtration and maintenance kits for machines.
