Another coal mine accident in China is reported today by Business Standard. The accident is caused by an explosion due to gas outburst at the Xiangshui Mine run by Panjiang Investment Holdings Group mine, in Guizhou Province.
According to Chinese Government figures 1,146 people died in 650 mining accidents in 2012 by mid-October. About half of these deaths were caused by illegal mining operations.
