The new 8th generation (8G) Pile Driving Analyzer®

The Pile Driving Analyzer® system (PDA) is the most widely employed system for Dynamic Load Testing and Pile Driving Monitoring in the world. It assesses the geotechnical capacity of piles using a pile driving hammer or a drop weight. The PDA also evaluates shaft integrity and investigates driving stresses and hammer energy during pile installation.

Who should attend: This webinar, offers a “big picture” look at the capabilities and new features of this latest generation Pile Driving Analyzer® and PDA-S software for those involved in pile design and construction and those specifying dynamic testing. This will be done by demonstrating various program features with examples covering both driven piles and cast-in-situ piles. The latest developments will also be explained for those who are users of this technology who may be interested in going beyond their typical basic applications.

Lecturers:
Mr. Brent Robinson, P.E., is a Vice President and partner in Pile Dynamics and GRL Engineers. He oversees civil engineering, research and development activities, and provides training to users of PDI equipment. He has performed measurement and analysis for foundation projects around the world.

Mr. Ryan Allin, P.E. is a senior engineer and partner in Pile Dynamics and GRL Engineers. After several years performing the entire range of services offered by GRL throughout the United States and in international offshore projects, Ryan is currently responsible for all PDI’s educational programs for foundation testing professionals. In that capacity he has presented lectures for numerous seminars, webinars and workshops on foundation testing and has co-authored papers on the subject.

Learning objectives: At the end of the webinar, the beginner participant will be able to describe dynamic pile testing, input parameters, procedures and results. The experienced participant will be able to recognize recently developed features.
