9th Geotechnical Symposium

The 9th geotechnical symposium, organized by the Istanbul branch of the UCTEA Turkish Chamber of Civil Engineers and supported by the Turkish Society for ISSMGE biannually, will be held on 22-24 November 2023 in Istanbul. This is one of the most important conferences in Turkey, mainly national with international participation. Symposium themes cover an extensive range of topics including almost all aspects of geotechnical engineering. Esteemed keynote speakers will deliver lectures on hot topics of geotechnical engineering and the panel on Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering will provide a great discussion platform on the reasons and outcomes of the horrendous earthquakes by referring to the teachings of the recent Kahramanmara earthquake. We will be very pleased to welcome our colleagues to the 9^th geotechnical symposium to share your knowledge and experience through your papers, contribute to discussions, increase the spirit, and emphasize the importance and size of geotechnics.
