7th International Conference on Recent Advances in Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering and Soil Dynamics (7ICRAGEE)

The 7^th International Conference on Recent Advances in Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering and Soil Dynamics (7ICRAGEE) is going to be held at the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore, Bengaluru, India during July 13-16, 2020. This quadrennial International Conference is in continuation of previous six such conferences in which the first five were organised by the Missouri University of Science & Technology, Rolla, USA, and the latest one was organised in Delhi in 2016, by the Indian Society of Earthquake Technology (ISET) and the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR), under the leadership of Prof. Shamsher Prakash. Prof. Shamsher Prakash has started organizing the highly popular and well regarded International Conferences on Recent Advances in Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering and Soil Dynamics and the International Conferences on Case Histories in Geotechnical Engineering, since the 1980’s, in the United States of America. He passed on the responsibility of organizing all the future International Conferences on Recent Advances in Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering and Soil Dynamics to ISET since its 6^th edition and the responsibility of organizing the International Conferences on Case Histories in Geotechnical Engineering to ASCE since its 8^th edition.

The conference aims to provide a platform to review the contributions and accomplishments in the field of Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering and Soil Dynamics in the last few years and draw an agenda for the future course of action keeping the national and global needs in the forefront. The 7th edition of the conference shall have invited Special Lectures, Keynote Lectures, State of the Art and Practice (SOAP) Lectures and contributed original research papers for discussion and publication in the proceedings. The conference proceedings (full papers only) will be published by Springer and submitted for indexation in the Data Citation Index - Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics) and SCOPUS database. Some selected papers will be invited for publishing in the International Journal of Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering or the International Journal of Earthquake and Impact Engineering. Submission of abstracts must be done online through the Springer Online Conference Service portal for ICRAGEE2020 available at http://7icragee.org/theme.php
